I see this all the time. A nonprofit with an incredible mission sends me their brochure and it’s five different fonts fighting for attention, text squeezed into every corner, and spacing that makes your eyes work too hard.

Here’s the thing: people decide if they trust you in about 3 seconds. Before they read a single word, they’re scanning the layout. If it looks scattered, they assume you are too.

The fix? Pick 2-3 fonts max and stick with them. Give your text room to breathe.

These aren’t big fancy design tricks. They’re fundamentals. And they’re the difference between looking like you threw something together last minute and looking like the professional you actually are.

Good structure builds trust. Always. 💙

Literally one day someone asked me to design a local magazine (who remembers The Source of Deal??) if only I learned the design software. Always a creative and up for a good challenge - I jumped right in and learned everything I could about graphic design, printing, and running my own business and I haven’t stopped since.

When @yad.ezra approached me, they had a clear mission: make it simpler for their community to help feed local families.

The challenge? Creating donation cards that would be easy to use in local stores.

We designed a card system that turns a small grocery purchase into meaningful support. The vibrant colors & hand-lettered “Share a bite” instantly communicate warmth & hope. 😊

The results? Cards that make giving super easy - and a client text that made my day: “Unbelievable awesome” 💙

When your marketing materials work this well, everyone wins: donors feel great, families get fed, and organizations like Yad Ezra can focus on their mission.
